Herbology Wrap Demonstration
How often do you add something new to your massage practice’s menu of services? Whether it’s a new service (i.e. spa treatment) or new modality, it’s always a great idea to keep your services fresh. I recommend adding a new service every quarter. Check out this demo of the Herbology Wrap to see if it is something you want to add to your massage practice.

Hi Linda! Thanks for sharing. I love that you work in your bare feet! Me too! Thanks for recommending how often to add a new treatment. It lets people know you are keeping up to date.
So-I have never had a treatment like this done. What is the herbology? Do you order it? Did you make it yourself? What herbs did you use? How long does a treatment like this last and how much do you charge? That was just the body treatment correct? Can you add massage to that and do it after or do you do it when you are putting the emollient cream on? (is that the massage part?) Thanks!
(Hope Castle was good tonight!)

Andrea,
The Herbology Wrap is know of detoxification as well as skin exfoliation. It’s great to market to your clients as a quarterly service (at least) — going from one season to the next.
You will need to get these products: Retexturizer (a combination of Chinese herbs) and Extremely Emollient Creme. These products are available at any beauty supply that sells Bioelements skincare products. If you have problems getting it, I can sell it to you. I have extras because I teach the CE course.
You will also need a dry brush and a carrier oil. I use Hazelnut. Some people add other essential oils depending on what they are offering their client.
As far as what to charge — I charge $90, but would depend on your individual market. Both this one and the Siddha Body Detox have been very good body treatments for me since I first starting offering them in 2000.
You can add it to a massage. I’ve offered the monthly special as a 1 hour massage and the Herbology Wrap. I’ve also had it as part of a package when I offered facials and nails.
I think I answered all of your questions, but let me know if you have others.
Linda
