Reflexology – 16 CEs

ancient reflexologyIn this 2-day class you will learn the historical origins and principles of Reflexology.

On day 1, the zones of the feet and the anatomical body will be charted on the feet. The student will learn basic Reflexology techniques such as thumb-walking, finger and hand positions, mapping and reading the feet and a protocol for a complete treatment procedure.

On day 2, students will learn additional treatment procedure for anatomical and physiological aspects of the body as it reflects on the feet and legs, client-therapist interaction, reflexology goals, benefits, contraindications, techniques, new reflex points and how to “work” them. Students now learn how to record and comment on their findings as they mark foot charts for each student; during this process, students focus on further developing their sensory skills and reading the feet.

Interwoven throughout this course is intensive hands-on work, extensive marketing ideas, ethical and workplace practices. Students will perform several complete reflexology sessions on each other’s feet.

“I love the marketing portion of this Reflexology class.  It is something that is not a focus in most CEU classes.  The book is going to be my new marketing bible.” -Sherrie Tennessee, Baltimore, MD
